Monohull, Multihull (catamaran or trimaran). Based on this and your estimated displacement, the configuator will attempt to calculate drives which may be suitable.
Single drive or dual drives are usually fitted
Drive is main cruising source
Hull form may be designed to achieve planing Single drive usually fitted midships
Drive may only be required when not sailing
Drive may only be required for entering/leaving port. Two drives can be installed (one in each hull)
Dual drives can supply twice as much power.
Battery Banks and generator can be installed in separate in hulls.
Step 4: Battery Type
Please select either the type of battery bank you are planning to install
Lithium or standard (AGM/Gel/2Volt) 48V battery bank.
We recommend a single battery bank for powering both single and dual drive setups.
It is possible to have a battery bank for each individual drive if a redundant setup is required.
Generally, the drive system's 48 V battery bank comprises of 2V / 12V / 24V cells. Single main bank (one bank can power multiple drives)
Two banks (one for each drive) together in the same room
Two banks (one for each drive) each bank in a seperate room / hull

The Hybrid drive system is not just a drive system. A wide range of modules are available to extend monitoring and control options onboard. The actual number of modules required can be determined at a later stage.
